October update. Finally got back and have finished up the interior of the wheelhouse.
Sorry to say we'll be closing it up soon. but a flashlight will help see most of it.

If you look close it's kind of rough. But you won't really notice it once the house top is attached.
This thing is finally looking like a tug boat. A few more turned parts and i can cse this up and deliver it.
Before Christmas is the plan right now.

Very nice job on the wheel house.
For your R/C version I make the radios from micro servos. There are two in my push tug, 1 rotates the spot lights and the other is full rotation and runs the wind shield wiper. I print out the face of the radio and glue it to the bottom of the servo. Carve a mic and add the coiled soild wire for the mic cord.
Sorry I don't have any good pic's of the in side.

You Guys are killing me

Jerome

I have to ask the question, since you made a mold for the hull would you consider making another hull, I have pictures of the Peggy Winslow from 2003 when she as in for a new set of Props of having here old ones trued up. I Found the props by tripping over them in rockland marine. The hull looks very similiar to Peggy. This summer was down taking pictures of Cockels (mis-spelled) Light House being rebuilt after the fire and just happen to have supper next to the Charles Winslow and took allot of pictures so have the winslow colors down real good. The scale is perfect to, I like 1/48.

PM if you would make a hull,
Thanks,
Rich

I'm thinking of having a mold finally made.
There has been a few that would want a hull.
So will try and drop it off next week.
May be able to lay up some hulls this winter
They would probably be west systems epoxy and glass cloth..

OK TimB

Like I said this was our 2003 trip in Maine, You are really lucky on the Peggy Winslow, I was shooting film at the time and these are what you get on the Walmart Processing, The Charles Winslow was shot digital and the avg 2.4mb so it is going to take a while to run them through the reduction program. the I also have pictures of the Tugboat Inn in BoothBay - and for those of you who don't know the enterence is through the deck up of a wooden harbor tug again shoot in digitial and film. Some people know that when I shoot a boat it is always for my personnal use for a build so there a group of general shots and then every detail I can find. The charles w, the Tugboat Inn, the Cotter, Edna G, and a whole bunch of other boats sail and power are done like that. From 2007 on I have been shooting digital which really gives the chance to capture every thing.

FYI - 2003 Trip included also included a friendship sloop, schooner Steven Taber, the schoone Boldwin some Moran tugs and some other bone yard boat that reveal all kinds of their secrets.

With that said - Here are the rest of the Alice Winslow, after all I have to set up a work shop today so I can finish the teak for my real sailboat.

Happiness, Rich

Close enough. Actually it's the Gulf of Maine, Cape Cod to Nova Scotia.
The Reed's nautical Almanac is covering the cape.
Thats about the limit for her operating range.
Good eyes Steve!
And for what it's worth. I painted it directly on the counter top.
And I also put on the hague line, must be the fishing part of me to include that.
