Actually, now that I look closer at it, I'm not so sure the Esky Tandem is a Sea Knight. It doesn't have the same canopy and landing gear setup as the EFlite Rescue...Anybody know what this helicopter is supposed to be?

You can find the EFlite Rescue on ebay sometimes and there are guys here that trade in them. Good luck tracking one down. They're really great flying models! I love it!

I'd buy that, I guess. I suppose what threw me was the lack of the big turbine engines on the sides, but I suppose Esky didn't want to weight their model down with that...

OTOH, you might have some issues finding some of these birds.

I got my EFlite Tandem Rescue at my LHS (their last one)

I got my Nine Eagles Twingo at ClubHeli.com (their stock is gone now but they have some parts. HobbyKing still has them for sale! )

I got my Esky Tandem from xheli.com (their stock is gone now but they have parts)

I got my Walkera YS8001 from Hobby King (their stock is gone now but they have parts)


I've scoured the interwebs for hobby stores that have these helis and parts. I've ordered from the UK, China, and New Zealand to get what I need. All I can say is if you find one--buy it immediately! Even if it doesn't work, it's a "project" that you can get working again by ordering the parts from elsewhere.

Well, we know and love the S022 (there's a whole thread devoted to it):

The S022G hasn't materialized as an actual product yet AFAIK.
