The disk is 36" diameter if you build it 1 to 1. I will work on remembering tiling it.

The stiffer you can make the wing the better it will roll.
My first model you could see the ailerons deflect , but see the wing bend the opposite direction. Speed makes it worse.
So I started adding CF to stiffen the wing up and it has gotten better.
If you watch the first video You can see the 66" Nitro model rolls fast (even tho they show it in slow motion)

The mission profile for the Foamie GeoBat is not to compete with an Extra 300 but more like the Piper cub of the flying saucer world.

I have taught people to fly on a Nitro Nexstar / then they built a GeoBat and discovered it would have been easier to learn on.

I can do the most beautiful rolls with a Foamie GeoBat. But they are slow rolls and I am feeding in the appropriate rudder and elevator inputs on the way around. Try it..... You'll like it. (get some altitude)

Marko, I have somehow ended up with a build guide that I got from somewhere that I didnt know I had. I just read it over and it is pretty good. Did you send it to me? I think it is very much worth posting. It has good tips and tricks for reinforcing, build order, etc...

It doesnt have any credits, names or copyright..? I am not sure where I got it.

Marko, I have figured out how to tile the plans thanks to Segraves ScaleTile program. I did letter and A4. I will send them to you for post #1 if you care to use them.

The link above is for a PDF tiling program which is free and works very well for anyone who needs to tile a single page pdf.I used it to tile the single page Geo-Bat pdf and it came out exactly the correct size
