thanks Dave. i figured out what i had to do. i had to do ALOT of tweaking to the brightness and contrast of the colors. when that was done, it came out quite okay. i found the template for this RX in this forum, posted by Dave DEWIT. the black and white colors were reversed, so i put them where they had to be in my program.

i didnt have a laser printer, so luckily i picked this one up from EBAY http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=6833641877 i luckily got it pretty cheap too. it is 1200X1200 DPI how accurate will the small PCB printings be with a 1200X1200 DPI printer?

with all that said, i still DIDN'T find any artwork for the IRXA301 on Koichi's site. i searched through each of his projects twice(which took me 30 minutes to do), but i still didnt find one.

Go back to page 21 of this thread, there is a post by Koichi (#303). Click on his name and a dialoge box will drop down. Click on the link to his homepage, Tokos Home Page comes up, click on the line that says "english translation" it will show you his site through Bablefish. If Bablefish gives you a translation error, just back up and try again, sometimes it takes a few trys to get it to load right. On the left hand column, scroll down to the Main Catagory and click on PIV/AVR. It is an index of all of his projects. The 301 rx is listed as #32, open it up and scroll down, there are 2 pix of the rx, underneath are highlighted links to the GIF pcb files. Right click on the link and do a save as and put it where you can find it. Pay attention to the 200 pixel/cm note, that what it needs to be printed at in PhotoShop to be the right size. I thought all you kids were computer wizards?

Hi Nathan,

Read the first post (index) of this thread again. You will find link to parts list
there. You will also find some programming tips there. Koichi's IR is ideal for the Sq9. Your best solution may be to buy a kit or built unit from Koichi.

Easiest diy charger to build uses LTC4054L. Will charge cells from 10 - 140mA.

Program resistor = 150/charge current, answer in K ohm.

eg: 150 divided by 30mA = 5K

4.5 - 6V supply.

You might read data sheet.

You're welcome !
P.S. there are many more new simple to build chargers from the linear technologies for even bigger currents, and i believe you can order samples from their website for free.
