thanks Dave. i figured out what i had to do. i had to do ALOT of tweaking to the brightness and contrast of the colors. when that was done, it came out quite okay. i found the template for this RX in this forum, posted by Dave DEWIT. the black and white colors were reversed, so i put them where they had to be in my program.
i didnt have a laser printer, so luckily i picked this one up from EBAY http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=6833641877 i luckily got it pretty cheap too. it is 1200X1200 DPI how accurate will the small PCB printings be with a 1200X1200 DPI printer? with all that said, i still DIDN'T find any artwork for the IRXA301 on Koichi's site. i searched through each of his projects twice(which took me 30 minutes to do), but i still didnt find one. |

Hi guys im thinking of making one of these rx's and a tx transmitter for it.
I ve read all through this and lernt quite a bit, do you guys have any pointers on building one, or before i build? I have not yet though found a part list of everything i need for the rx and tx. can someone out there help me. Im aware this rx total weight ends up around 0.4g? So then this rx CAN be used on a square 9 am i correct? Because i have the plane built and am trying to find a cheap resoloution for an rx. How much approx will one of these and tx be to build? Thanks alot guys for the help Nathan |

Hi Nathan,
Read the first post (index) of this thread again. You will find link to parts list there. You will also find some programming tips there. Koichi's IR is ideal for the Sq9. Your best solution may be to buy a kit or built unit from Koichi. Dave |

You're welcome !
P.S. there are many more new simple to build chargers from the linear technologies for even bigger currents, and i believe you can order samples from their website for free. www.linear.com |
