Wanted
Plane in Maui

Headed to Maui in a couple months and I am looking for something to fly for a couple weeks. Been there flying a few years ago and it was a blast.
Looking to buy an electric to fly at Maui RC Modelers airport, or perhaps for soaring off the Volcano.
If you don't have a plane fo me, do you know where I could get one locally?
Thanks.

You may be able to UPS one there cheaper than renting or buying... Just a thought.

Bout how much would that be ???

I'm planning on going back in August to Oahu and have been thinking about sending one over but not sure if it would be cost prohibitive or not...Just something like my little 42" AJ or a Sebart Katana 30e...

I just spectated at one of the clubs the last time I was over...

A 42" slick is about $50 here in the lower 48. A lot cheaper if you could take it apart and put it in the original box or just send a new one . Could do that with a buck huck and then donate it to a worthy kid when you leave... Don't know if they charge more to cross the pond or not. You can do a quote on UPS.com I think.

I was cruising the for-sale threads and thought I would comment here. My wife and I had our wedding/honeymoon on Maui. It turns out that our photographer was a paraglider pilot, and our wedding planner's husband flew slope RC off the same site. They invited us to come hang out with them. They even loaned me a plane to fly while I was there! I posted a video on my blog. It's the 7th video down the list.
