Thanks to the work crew!

Just wanted to draw attention and thanks to all those who came out this morning and pitched in helping to dismantle the field and its equipment. It's alot to ask people to come out for nothing but hard work and not even being allowed to fly. Especially when the work involves taking apart the field, which definitely was tough to go through, and I'm not talking about the PHYSICAL labor.

Turnout was great, and with so many people contributing what they could, the work goes so much faster.

It was a sad sad day for us, and I don't want to dwell on that, just thanks for so many people coming out to help.

Jim,

Did you lock the gate since you were the last to leave??

I did not, I couldn't find the gate, LOL! I need to have the legendary 8 year old girl bucked off of a horse live on, thanks for finding this avatar originally

These pictures are scary! Look at the similarities, they are uncanny!

sorry to see that it had to come to an end fellas. Wish I had taken that long walk around the canal and met you all years earlier, although my wallet could not have taken it for sure....

Thanks to everyone who was able to come out and help today. Wish I could have gotten there a little earlier, but I was babysitting this weekend as my wife was in Tucson at the Gem & Bead Show (spending the money I made at AEF! ).

It was a lot of hard work, but it was worth it to see the Sun Lakes guys get the canopy, and for us to be able to store the runway at Rick's for future use. And it WILL get used again by us.

Huh? I already have the center section laid out in my back yard, across the canal ditch and into the neighbors yard. Works great

But, but, but, you already have a concrete runway. What do you need a fabric one for?!?!

If those rodeo people had half as much class as us, they'd be getting invitations across the whole valley to join other clubs too.

Not to mention the great help moving.
Let them have the "victory" ride on our runway. We will be back, they won't.
