Just got this and love it.. It is RTF with an ready to go audjustable pitch camera..all you need is an SD card and an SD readable to usb to your PC at wall mart ect. The helo is somewhat exact as the esky big lama.. totally perfect hover and is 11.1V compatable battery. The helo comes with heat sinks on the motors!! Great!! For anyone wishing not to hassle with installing a vid camera this helo comes proffesionally RTF installed.. all you do is insert the micro SD card and hit a switch on the TX (transmitter) 5th channel and it turns it on/off it also can take pictures instead with the switch.. A+++

I am going to take back some of my thread on this helo until further test.. The wind was way calmer tonight.. The helo has a gyro problem sometimes.. it will just spin and spin.. re bind it and it does ok but then pitches wildly or some other stuff.. sometimes there is no left yaw response in a delay.. the camera sometimes does not work with the 5 ch switch and sometimes it works-- there is no light that lights up to say the cam is recording so you cannot tell until you load it to your PC and get a (No video detected) or it does download so on.. Further test are needed on this thing..So far this is (NO) Big lama quality.. I have never had these kind of gyro probs ever with any of my 3 esky big lamas.. Further test needed

After further review!! After moving the batt forward into the nose this heli flys extra great!! I also de threaded the pitch link up 3 turns for better forward flight.. Here is the cool part.. this helicopter has (No) death dive stall issues like the big outdoor lama has. I had the heli as fast and as hard as I could in a forward bank back and forth and reverse intricate..and it (never) went out of control.. It flew by me banking at at least 30+ MPH then up and spin..drop recover..you name it..stuff I would never dare do with my BOL.. The helo seems to recover from anything and get stable again.. I visually compared it to the Big outdoor lama and it appears the motors on the twister police cam heli is about one half inch lower in the frame than the BOL..this must be giving it complete tip flip death stall protection by the lower center of gravity.. I was testing with my RDJ sim anti bladestrike blades though that I am designing for this helo..but I believe the stock blades should resist any death stall dives too..Will need to refit those and test!!The only prob I have had with the twister police is the camera..It recorded 3 good test videos but then it started screwing up.. It turned upside down and blue and distorted then it later would not even turn on anymore.. I am going to call hobby lobby and see if they will just replace the cam for me as those things are about 60 bucks..I had no crashes or damage to it sooo..it just went out on its own.. This helicopter (Just might) replace the big outdoor lama for flight quality

Had a good one with this.. It has absolutely (NO) death stall dives no matter how hard you fly it it recovers.. amazing.. a few audjustments (Move the batt forward) and you have a crazy 3d flying coaxial..

Just wondering if anyone has tried this heli out (Twister police helicam) ?? I bought it just to take videos but the helo itself has turned out to be an incredible coaxial.. I have flown the big outdoor lama for a year or so now and had to fly it (Tame) mostly or it would stall and get a death dive un controllable crash. But this twister heli can recover from anything..hard fast rolls..forward/reverse..lift/drop..spin.. I have never seen anything like it.. I just flew it twice tonight in the spotlights and threw everthing at it..I had my RDJ sim blades on it though..tomorrow I am going to test with its stock blades and try it.. This heli is amazing!! Although my camera went out after about 3 or 4 video makes..It went out on me even before I made any hard flight test!!They told me the flycam one eco was not a seperate spare part that could be replaced at Hobby lobby.. I will just get a new camera soon as a couple of nights ago when testing this thing it went so fast in a banking circle I lost sight and it went into a tree.. it took me about 30 ft of an extended taped pole to knock it down ..the fuse got busted up some so I will not send the whole thing to replace it...but some clear tape fixed it up and it still flys the same..(Incredible)

Ok... Had some good weather to test this heli again.this time with its (stock blades). So I tested it with its (Stock) blades.. 1st flight got caught in a tree..bad distance perception on my part..got it down with extended paint stick..no damages.. Took it up with as (Hard) as I could fly it again and yes it got a death dive crash into a bush.I took it up one more time with stock blades and flew it hard bank and it got a death dive again... killed the throttle and let it drop and hit the ground..the nose tore off and bent flybar.. tapped the nose back on and straightened the flybar out and put my RDJ sim blades back on and flew out the remainder of the battery as hard as I could...hard throttle..full aeliron bank at high speed in all directions..spin drop lift...anything...and it always recovered..no death dive (ever) 14 full flights as hard as you can fly a coaxial..Mayby they will make one of these helis without the camera cheaper

Well now hobby lobby is posting that the twister police helicam models are due late April.. No problem..at least they update their site.. I have one on backorder..This RC heli is absolutely incredible...put your orders in for it and we will see ya when it explodes!!!

My dad has just been given a ready to fly Twister Police Helicam as a retierment gift & when we tryed to walk the helo we found we cannot make it rotate left, rotating right is fine. this is the case even with the trim set fully to the left for compencation, can anyone give me some info to resolve this issue.

I remember when I got mine right outta the box and flew it and it did that too..rotated right and I set the yaw trim slider all the way right to compensate.. It cleared up on the 2nd flight.. I just thought it had broken in or something and the gears needed to spin and loosen up or I thought the gyro needed warming up because at first it seemed to do some jerking corrections..it all cleared up aftarwards somehow..

thanks for the info, have tryede altering the left srew (not the gain) inside the cockpit this morning & that seems to have done it. if we start to find it is rotating left too much i will senter that again & see what happens

Yeah sometimes the RTF people just skip some test and let you do it yourself..its called improvise overcome and adapt.. the best thingy the USMC and God ever came up with advice!!
