I hate being a dream crusher; however, I don't think some of us that are still "wet behind the ears" should get too excited quite yet. Normally the smaller the Main Rotor Disc, the more difficult it is to fly.

But would you say with all plastic parts and tail motor, a potentially less expensive thing to learn on in terms of crash damage?

Quite true, but what we're hoping for is that the lighter the helicopter is - less damage it gets when planted to dirt. Also, FBL changed that scape a bit. Look at 4G6 that was really a handful to control it made pretty manageable little helicopter.

it looks more the msr size then the sr120 size by the look of the skids and lipo. Would i be right in saying this?

Hi,

i'm the one who tested it on the video (sorry for bad quality but cameraman was not use to the camera and also not use to make heli video (and this size is difficult to follow)).

I can confirm this heli is great and very stable.

There is a set of spare blades provided with the heli which have additionnal weight on...This make the heli even more stable for starters but also more stable if fast forward/backward flights (of course this reduce a bit the agility for aerobatic in this case but still everything is possibe).

Regarding aerobatic flight, the current video was the second flight only. But if you go smooth and get use to it,then you can do all basic aerobatic smooth manoeuvers.

I'll prepare a new video this week-end.

Bigger than Msr... Smaller than sr120.

Check spec on model flight web site mate... It's all there!

Looks good... $200 BNF but!

I thought that was cheap considering the mSRs are that price around here....and the 120SRs are $219 bnf

Hi all,
It is slightly larger [rotor] than a 4#3 and about the same weight as the old 4#3v1.
It appears to have the same level of performance as the 4g3. If the motors are any good, it looks like a winner. I'm sure some power upgrades are already in the works. Adequate is never enough...

Supplied TX is the DX4e, so you can control it with a 4 channel TX?

Btw, I wonder if Bob saw this coming, Eflite going flybarless, and 3D, and you don't even need a V2 rev 10.1 or so TX or so for it...
