Hey guys I got my mcpx v2 for Xmas, what is the cheapest route for flight simulation options? I have the rtf included dx4e. What's the cheapest and best way for flight simulation for this controller?

I will put in a vote for Clearview (www.rcflightsim.com). $40, but you do have to get a controller. Either get a USB cable for your transmitter, of go the USB dummy box route. I did the latter, for about another $20.

The program doesn't have lots of "video game" features like combat, but the graphics are solid and the flight physics feel good to me. I was personally having issues with my mCPX, and the model in Clearview approximates it really well right down to the twitchiness and tail blow-outs. I expect the higher end ones are good as well, but you asked for cheap, and I've been very happy and successful (in real flying) with Clearview for five years.

Clearview is www.rcflightsim.com. And if you Google "gws jr USB" you will find numerous links to places to buy a cable. It looks as if you'll pay about $10. There are other brands as well, but many people seem to mention the GWS one.

sometimes my aileron servo will not move until I open up@loose up the canopy then it was working again. emmm

A couple if things to check.
Pull the servo apart and clean it
Check the wire is plugged in properly
Is the canopy binding against the link? Have you damaged the near by post?

nope..no binding between canopy & servo and no crash (at the moment..)...gonna do some close check-up...

Is there ANY way to use a 9x to fly this heli?
Hobby king has a dsmx and dsm2 module that will work with the 9x.
Has anyone done this? I have a rtf mcpX with the specktrum 4.
I want low rates and expo. (noob)
My other planes/helis use the 9x and I dont wanna buy another radio.
Also, i keep slamming it into the ground. To take out some negative pitch;
do I just lengthen the 3 pushrods aprox 3 turns each?
Once i get the hang of it, it will fly great. I had to fly outside in a very large area.
Dang this thing is fast. I thought that since I can fly a 450 without crashing
I was good. I need lots more practice and lower rates. But; there aren't many
things that will get your adrenaline flowing like this! I can't wipe the smile off
my face.

I use the Orange DSM2/DSMXmodule with my 9XR and so far it seems to work ok.. I'm testing it with one of my 130X's but since the 9XR doesn't fit my hands very well I haven't done the much flying with it

Before setting 0 pitch at mid stick, be sure your swash is level and only then you can adjust the 3 push rod (either CW or ACW depends on the blade).

If using the DX4 and DX5 transmitters there is a specal setup procedure when binding.

This removes the excessive negative pitch.

The setup procedure is in the transmitter manual.

if you mean you keep slamming it into the ground because you move the stick down too fast, lengthening the pushrods wont help that, it will just make your motor bog. You need to set it up on a computer radio and just give it less negative in the pitch curve.... or just be gentler on the stick... Your 9x will work fine with the spektrum module I belive....
