It's not "my" GUI.

Pirates' coders Kim and Krokodil have teamed up on integrating also the ground station into the Management Console. A GUI for waypoint navigation is also on their task list...

Yes - it works 100% with v1.5.
Pirate Dani is working on the 1.6 version of Alex' MultiWii code.

Flyduino 1.01 is working great!

Congratulations to Paul aka Goofy 23!

You've done a great job on your Flyduino FlightController.
I received my proto today, plugged in Jussi's IMU and my receiver and everything works like a charm!

Can't wait to put it on my new MultiMega and take it out for a maiden flight!

Norbert

Successful Outdoor Maiden Flight with Paul's FlyduinoMega and Jussi's IMU 9DOF

Nothing spectacular - just a proof of concept.

I took my MultiMega out for a test flight today. Though it was rather windy I managed to keep him up.
You can see some heavy drift caused by nasty gusts...

MultiMega FlyduinoMega Freeflight IMU - Outdoor Maiden Flight (2 min 55 sec)

I'm very proud to be the first person on the planet who flew this brand new prototype consisting of

- Paul's FlyduinoMega Flightcontroller (proto version 1.01)
- Jussi's FreeFlight 9DOF+ baro Sensor Board (proto version 1.1)
- Alexinparis' MultiWii code (v1.6 stable)
- Kaotix Presence' Pirate Frame (initial release)

Though I'm a lousy pilot I was honored by the makers to be the one to launch the Pirates' Ship.

A zillion thanks, guys! You're simply brilliant.

Norbert

Usually the coders are the first to get a hand on new hardware in a prototype run. And then the test pilots.

In this case it was some kind of "lucky circumstances":
Paul sent me his first completed Flyduino. I dunno how I deserved this...

Dani and Alex worked on a new version of the MultiWii Online Configurator:

http://ardupirates.net/config/MW_Config.php

It now supports both the latest versions 1.5 and 1.6 of the code.

After 1 guy started a rage about this offer, the original thread was moved to a more appropriate place in the classifieds section and now fulfills the rule of RCG 100%:

Im sorry but i find this action totally Wrong, The offending post was from one of the guys responsible for a lot of people getting into multicopters in the first place, who has contributed to the comunity in a big, and i mean a big way and on top of that seems a real genuine guy who has given to the community freely and now he gets a slap in the face the first time he asks for anything back.
Dont get me wrong, i dont want our forum littered with inapropriate adds but the exception makes the rule especially when its Signguy!
and on top of all that the T**t who complained is always making irritateing and contriversial remarks and uncalled for comments in various quad forums and is certainly at best "sailing close to the wind" himself.
Its done now, but i for one am dissapointed that an exception wasn't made in this case and the product was not a blanket product but one that was wholley appropriate to the multiwii community.
