Wanna show your xxx addiction?

Now you can:

After 1 guy started a rage about this offer, the original thread was moved to a more appropriate place in the classifieds section and now fulfills the rule of RCG 100%:

I love this!! xxx has some xxx t shirts for sale I also noticed that quxx adxxx changed all his post to not look like a xxx. sorry about the cryptic xxx usage, but don't want to be given points for doing something everyone does here anyway!!

We have a say here: "If someone comes as an xxx he'll be treated like an xxx."

Usually those rants and fights concentrate on the commercial threads or where money and free gifts are involved - not in community based ones.

But your T-shirts were an easy target. Off-topic - MEGA LOL!
As long as jealousy is the motor for some weird actions you can easily spoil harmony everywhere.

Fortunately we can offer some ON TOPIC advertising: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1332876

Paul was offering a first batch of 10 Flyduinos Mega

Everyone else has to wait for the final release of the Flyduino,
because already all 10 pieces are reserved!

There are no more items left:

Is it safe to say that this 'Flyduino' may be an "MK Killer"?

By "MK Killer" I mean that it appears that you have created a very stable flight control board that can:
  • Employ both gyros and accelerometers to stabilize flight (via Jussi's 9dof BOB)
  • Use barometric pressure sensor to control altitude (via Jussi's 9DOF BOB)
  • Employ GPS Position Hold
  • Fly waypoints without the burden of a 250m limit?
  • Use 'off-the-shelf' ESC's, rather than only using i2c ESC's?
  • Provide nick/roll camera stabilization?
  • Do everything listed above for less $$$ than the cost of the MK FC 2.1 alone?

If my assumptions above are correct, then I must have a complete setup as soon as possible!

There are some very exciting developments going on right now.
And the Pirates are into most of them.

But to make some things clear which shouldn't be mixed up atm:

Norf has shown off his "Blue Wonder" Hexa based on DIYDrones hardware (APM + IMU + magneto + GPS). You can already buy a complete ARF/RTF ArduCopter in the US, Asia and Europe.
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1255371

There are 3 different software developments, supported by Pirates:

- the first is the ArduPirates NG code which is capable of what Norf has shown. We have a very stable base for further developments like waypoint navigation. The Pirates' main coder Hein is working on an Octo version with standard ESCs. And there is much more to come from the Pirates!

- the second one is the development of the ACM (ArduCopter Mega) by the "original" Arducopter team. It's at alpha stage right now but there are already proofs of concept for features like the well known MK "carefree".

-the third one is the famous MutiWii code by Alexinparis. His code is being beta tested for the upcoming Flyduino, IMU and other sensors right now.
His single file solution provides the best and stable code for pretty cheap sensors I've ever seen. So it's only a matter of time when the MultiWhatever will be there where the MK, UAVX and Arducopter already are.

Also there are several projects by other Pirates like Ted Carancho's well known AeroQuad or Roberto's brand new MultiFox.
More flight controllers made in Israel and Spain, code portations from one platform to another and so on...

To answer your initial question: YES, there is a MK killer at the horizon. Norf's Hexa is the visible proof!
Thx to Open Source others will follow soon...
