Do be careful, I recall they had a lot of these planes go with wing failures when pushed too hard. That was several years ago when China started pumping them out, so they may have improved?? As I recall folks were putting a lot of watts into them.

Yeah a bit rocky. It is an old quarry.

I'm working on a portable net for setting up in rocky environs. Just kidding but I should. Like a small football field goal.

I want to know more about the front-side wind directions of Norco. I know... This is not an OC site. I'll look elsewhere.

Friday at Lily's

Thanks to Trisme for the test flight. My DAM mustang flew in less wind than I thought it would thanks to the long hill at Lilys.

Yes not enough up trim and elevator throw. Took a half ounce out of the nose and increased the elev. throw, flew it yesterday pretty successfully. Quick little handful. This morning, I cut the fins out and took out the under camber from the center section of the body. I then re-glued the fins back in. I should now be able to take out some of the up trim it took to fly level. I will make thicker control rods too.

Not yet, still need to take the flight test

Tom, that thing sorta reminds me of my old JADE Shogun. A neat thing to see fly but a handful and not the easiest thing to launch.

I bought a glider about a year ago at a garage sale, had no idea what it was, but it had pivoting wings so I thought, "Thats cool!"

Turns out it's a Turbo S wingeron glider.

Anyway I wanted to try to install the servo for the wings. Each wing has a ball tyupe joint on it's lever. Anyone know what I need to buy to attach the servo linkage to these ball joints?
