My planes are charged, but I am such a wussy boy I do not know if I have enough jackets, sweaters and gloves to stay warm. Basically can't get moving, hopefully my 11 am

Still pretty windy in Newport Beach, but I think it's dying a bit.

Weather report from flagpole as of 10 minutes ago (Keith and Jordan) Not much happening, wind is coming in from the east, so while Keith is having a cigarette, Jordan is looking for a better spot up there, Keith will call me if it gets better.

Take some lipo's and a hammer, I hear that works at keeping things warm.

I'll consider checking out the old quarry in Torrance but it looks like the wind event may be over by the time I take lunch.

By the time we left the Flash Pole was already NW and still turning. We walked anther mile during the East wind to where the ridge faced east and by the time we got there (15 min walk) it was gone...

Gazebos and Gilleran park have an east face. Since Zero pitch said it's dead in MV, I'd try Gazebos for those of you with plenty of time on your hands.
