Absolutely awesome warthox!! I can't wait to get my hands on a Flyduino / FFIMU - it looks so neat and compact!

Very nice setup Warthox!
I love the simplicity you always put into your builds!

I adapted the drawing in my blog based on your code, setup & connections.

berkeley, think we creating a standard, thumps up.
Ok with the pinchange for the motor we have a own pinout standard now, but with your great shematics no one will have a problem with it, i think.
Oh and have to add, this is not the offiicial pinout you find in a standard multiwii soft now!
Its based on a self edited version by warthox, but i am sure there will be a special PDE or a define for it soon.

I dont understand why D19 is a problem for PPM. That pin was specifacally chosen because it offers interrrupt (for PPM) and it could also be used for spektrum satellite RX (Serial connection)

If you look in the Preter 1.7 code you will find that D19 is defined for PPM sum RX:

Code:
 #define PPM_PIN_INTERRUPT          attachInterrupt(4, rxInt, RISING);  //PIN 19
Now, who is gonna make Spektrum sat happen for MultiWii?...I seriously would like to use a sat for Mega versions (I wont come near the 600-1000 Meter range limit for for spektrum sats and parkflyer RXs)

Unfortunately the spektrum sat clone from HK is on backorder for already 2 weeks.

i really hope for a PCINT solution.
If this would be possible this would may be the nicest solution as we can use the thro. pin then for the ppm too.
Otherwise a little pinmapping change for the motors will do the job.

For the satelite, which seems to need a serial, there a 2 more avaiable on pinheaders, no problem there, exept my different numbering of the serials.
I had to choose ser0 for the jst, ser 2 and ser 3 are on pinheaders, it is design wise related, its all very tight and optimized.
Ok its sure we need a extra define for the flyduino to use the serials.
But it shouldnt be a challenge for the coders to simply change the numbering of it.

On my MK I use 3 Spektrum satellites with a diversity board. I would love to see someone come up with a solution that would allow me to use the same setup on this board. Here is the diagram on the diversity board.

there are still 2 serial in free on pinheaders.
How much serial ins you need?
i think with your diversity (or triversity? in this case) board you only need one.
It hard to see, cause the picture wont open.

Paul, my question is what pins do I connect the wires from the diversity board to?

can you post abigger picture pls, cant see a thing
but i think RXD2 RXD3 would be perfect, they brought out on pinheader, but they have to be defined in the soft for that.
Sorry dont know much about the satelite, but technically you can connect it.
A qouto from another forum
Question 1: Could I use one of the Arduino Mega's serial ports to connect my receiver (spektrum satelite) or would I encounter the same problem as with the digital pin 0 on my Duemilanove?
Yes you could, there would be no problems like this as only one serial port is used by the USB leaving you with three free.

Does he needs 3.3V, i think so but also no problem as there is a free 3.3V regulator waitng for your satelite on the flyduino.
