Hi,

@Paul:
I know I mentioned it before but can you do me a favour?
I got this faint whistling coming from Flyduino/Flydusense V2. I wonder if it is normal... (I equipped the LLC on the 5V side)
Fladuino v2.1/Flydusense V2 w. LLC/WMP+/BMA020

Thank you
The sound comes from the flydusense board, I do not know if it is the WMP or the BMA,
anyone else has these noises?

Nils

i checked it twice, i cant hear any thing from bc337 nor bs170, and never heard some hears them switching.
But a lost capacitor shouldnt cause a sound too, it really strange, ok i cant hear it, but normally i heard instantly a swiching supply, but there is no where one?? also not on the WMP.
Sorry, good luck

You can offer in your shop the black square flydusense with LLC?

I love the square version and not the round

Just wanted to show off...

... some pix of my new Flydu Buddies. Both made from several different frame projects. Carrying Paul' Flyduino and Jussi's FFIMU. The Hexa will get a new FC later...

First one is the FlyduQuad, consisting of Paul's quad frame parts with small landing gears from http://www.x468.com
KDA motors and 10" props from Paul - which I already love! Well belanced, light and they can take a punch.

Second one is the FlyduSpider with landing gears from Jakub. It will also have the KDA motors swinging 8" props. Still looking for a nice hood for it...

I built the stack slightly different from usual builds. Since I dont want to have a big tower I put the Flyduino in between the sensor board and the GPS bob. This is the only position where no pins are coverd by the GPS bob.

Nice builds, Norbert!

As I'm also an happy owner of Paul's Flyduspider, I'm interested by your setup.
I like the idea of not having a big tower for electronic, so I think I'll keep in mind your idea, thanks!

What for did you hook up a cable on serial1?

Eagle eyes - the serial is only plugged in to have some sample wires hanging around. I think I'll use it for the PPM sum later.
A bit worried about the noise and heat from the ESCs but I don't like to hang them on the arms - rather hide them under a cover. The good thing about Paul's center plates is the combination with a power distri. Love it!

Maybe I'll attach the rear ESCs on the outside of the arms to avoid noise next to the sensors.

I'm in the process of checking out a nice cover for the Spider. Mike aka RCHalleBerlin will try to manufacture a hood for it. But it's tricky. Has to be round an rather flat in the front - and oval at triple height of the front to cover the electronix. Hmmm...
