Full throttle static results with 82mm exhaust diameter:
6375 watts peak. 6kw after 5sec. 5.8kw after 10sec.
Gens Ace pack holds at 44.4v (3.7v/cell) at 131 amps.
CC160hv with cooling fan peaks at 137F after six 10 second runs with 20 seconds breaks between each run at half throttle. Used 3000 mah.

I used a large 5v cooling fan on the controller to avoid cutting vents in the plane. It seems to be doing a good job and only weighs .5 ounces. While running, I can feel the air exit out the tail of the plane. In the air, it should run even cooler. I'm shopping for a non LED fan as this one is obnoxiously bright.

Speed was the focus of this build and I believe I chose the right fan for the task. Hoping to maiden in a week or so. I'll try to get video and radar.

Sorry I haven't had time to maiden yet. Hoping to maiden very soon. Just need the winds to calm down and coordinate with my radar/cameraman.

Very happy with the setup. Fly's great and lands easy. Thinking about going to 11s 5800 which weigh the same as my 12s 5300.

Flew it on 11s 5800 today. Logger shows 5000 watts peak and average of 4500 watts. Does 176mph with a 3-5mph headwind. This is pretty much in line with the other guys running this fan at this power. Mid to high 170's

Then I flew my 12s 5300 pack. 6600 watts peak averaging just under 6kw. Radar got it at 190mph into a 3-5mph headwind. This is in line with my other runs which prove this to be a solid low to mid 190's.

I couldn't tell the difference in top speed from the 11s, just had to cruise at 3/4 throttle instead of 1/2 throttle. Got about a minute more runtime. Very happy with both setups.

I've only flown the plane on low timing.

Dang that's moving! are you considering moving the timing up?

I've thought about moving the timing up, but that still won't get me to 200mph. Maybe mid to high 190's. Low timing is recommended for neu motors and I want to keep everything happy.

I hooked up a clamp meter and compared them to the logger readings. The CC logger reads a bit high. Looks like I'm closer to 5.5kw - 6kw peak on 12s and 4kw - 4.5kw peak on 11s.
