It's all fixed. Can't tell it was bellied in. Was very stable. I think it was a little nose heavy also. Retried the toss glider, and rebalanced for a more forward CG. I think I was off a little.
Very durable, for the construction.

Try...try... try...

what did you end up with for an AUW? also did you try the nose on scale and run it up just to see where you are on static?

The AUW on my scale is 21oz. My fish scale says 19oz. The scale is not accurate. Very old wore out. The thrust when holding it is very good. definetly more than half the AUW. I played with the toss glider some more and it did the same thing at the same CG. At a hard toss it was fine. Slower throw and it slowed and headed to the ground.

I removed some nose wt till glider flew level then fell more horizontally rocking it's wings at the stall. I had a Byrons F-16 yrs ago, it flew the same way.
Checking the new CG I find I was 1/4" to far forward.
I should of tested the glider more.
I found a high grass field. Going by myself to do some low power test glides w/8 cells instead of 10.

Steve,

You'll get it. F-16's always fly good. I had the Byrons too. What a kick in the pants it was to fly when the engine was running right.

Tall grass is a good idea, but I bet you get a flight in or two once you see it's on the step!!

Best of luck second time out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanx Steve,
I went dead stick one time with the Byrons(new OPS .65)
from 200'. The jet fell flat all the way to the ground flattening the gear in the grass. Changed the plug, flew again. Ahhh the good ole days...

Now itsa pusha!

I was going to repower with a /2 mega in the Wattage fan, w/KY rotor. Decided to try it as a pusher first.

I finally have a new pc, so I can finally use my new, one yr old cam. Will try for flight shots on maiden.

You should paint the prop in mat black so it is less visible.

I do not know why but iti is so. White on the countrary.

I wonder why but it is my experience.

Good point indesca. The reason is black is an absence of color.
White is the mixture of all basic colors.
