Hi Eric, Good to hear from you.

I'm building the stock kit to verify the C.G. I have built and flown these as a throw plane before. But, I can't remember the CG location.
My first enlargement had a K.K. TD.09 in the nose. Was very fast.
No throttle control. I was praying for the engine to quit.
So, I have faith in it's conversion to EDF. I believe the AUW will be very good.
Hopefully in a week or so.

Steve, your F16 looks awesome. It should really fly well for you I am sure that it will. You really have the talent to build those stick and tissue planes

Thanx Steve & Joe,

I have always felt very comfortable with this type of construction. With present day composites adding strength where needed, some designs are even more feasable.

Waiting on the canopy now. Should be ready tomorrow.

Made a throw model to verify C.G. Glad I did, it would have been an instant lawn dart. Very nose heavy. I made the batt platform longer than needed. I can balance with 8&10 cell 1100He cells.

Thinking of trying 8 cells on first try. Seems to have enough thrust.

Went over my predictions on the AUW. I was hoping around 17-18oz. Came in @ 21oz. Less with 8cells. But, it may be lighter, as my scale is not the best.

Oh well, bite the bullet and throw it!
