Hey Bigster,

Well...I've been over here reading the thread and waiting for some "irresistible" Holiday deal to force me to consider it

Can't quite justify the "normal" price on it...but you saw what happened when they dropped the regular Super Vyper by $50 for the F3A promotion and then threw in that Halloween coupon to seal the deal Ahhh yes...the "twins" are a welcome addition to the family But I really don't have a nice Bipe at the moment (other than a pair of old foamy Ultimate FX3D's that don't get out other than calm days)

I'll be out of town over the holidays...but I'll be watching for 3dhs to inspire me to hit that "submit" button...again...

Best Regards,
TC

Mine is done except for final set-up (throws etc.) Balances fine with a 4S 45C 2700mAH Thunder power pack. It is balancing level at the front balancing point, but if it needs any more, it might get a bit difficult to get the pack in. I might think about adding a bit to the front of the battery tray, which would add just a smidge of weight to the front. But I'm going to fly it first

3DHS 42 Vyper Bype - brief basic vid (6 min 15 sec)

I was able to strap a gopro head cam on today during a few flights. Here's one of the flight in all its unedit glory . I've recently upgraded to Win8 and had not installed any video editing software. Nothing fancy. Basic, easy 6 minutes flight which include flat spin, blender, knife edge, harrier, hover.

There is no "right way".....tape them on or glue them on....but if talking about the orientation, the long part goes towards the back., but check the photos, as it take a bit of sanding to get them to match up.

Yeah, I was talking about the orientation. So the longer part goes along the fuse and the shorter part goes along the landing gear?

Yes.... If you check out the photos, you will find a .pdf file I posted that is full size and shows you how you have to trim both the front edge of the fairing (the front angle is not correct), and also the upper edge to fit around the wing.

Wow, things have been real quiet in this thread!

What size bullet connectors match the stock connectors on the Hacker A30-12xl?
