Got the gear fairings mounted tonight. I decided to go with Welders glue. I used wax paper to keep glue off of the wing and hatch. there really isn't much area for the fairings to mount to. I wanted to make sure I didn't glue them to the hatch! Worked out good.

my favorite method for the fairing is to get the Scotch Transparent tape (not their "invisible" stuff with the matte finish, need the crystal clear stuff), and use tape both sides of the gear leg... this allows the fairing to be in line with the gear leg, lots of grip to tape both sides, also maximises the area of the faring.

I ended up only gluing to the gear. I looked tonight and figured I might hotglue in a couple spots along the fuse since I have a little gap there. Looks great though. I can't wait to get it in the air tomorrow and start playing with some mixes.

So.....sat down at the computer last night and ordered 8 Hitec HS-85MGs, four HS-225MGs, two Castle Creations ICE lite 75's and an ICE100 from Tower....did it in two orders, and not only got discounts for buying multiples of items, but also saved $100.00 using my Tower saver club discount....and got free shipping......Since I already bought two Motrolfly motors for my 51" Slick, and Byper...and have the motor for my 58" Edge... I am now ready to build all of them.... Byper first of course, just as soon as I finish up my 70" Velox, which should be done today or this weekend by the latest!!

What prop are you using with the Motrolfly for the Bype? I had a couple more flights today and was considering bumping the prop size from 14x7 to 15x6 (A30-12XL). I was curious if you can use a 15" prop with the 3615? I don't see any prop/amp data for it.
