thanks scott, is there anyway you can post the linkage setup for the top and bottom wings? I saw the video of the magnets but is it just a standard linkage setup and we don't disconnect it during transportation?

I "think" the wings are going to come off as pairs (right pair, left pair), so aileron linkages will stay hooked up.

I'm actually a bit worried the magnets are going to be so strong that when you pull off the top wing, your going to rip the aileron linkage out

The wings stay together as pairs, so you don't have to fuss the aileron linkages, or the interplane struts except during the initial assembly of the model. Just unscrew the wing bolt, unplug the servo extensions and remove the wings with each side being a set.

do the two wing then kinda collapse and fold flat? Are wing bags included like usual?

Scott,

If both top and bottom panels are removed but remain connected by the interplane strut, aren't the wings and strut prone to damage as there is nothing holding the inner ends of the wings apart so the strut to wing connection could see large bending moments?
Or are the interplane strut to wing connectors 'hinged' to allow the assembly to fold flat?

Oops.. i see inverted asked much the same question already

I understand your concerns, which we shared.

For the solution. Simply slide the wings onto the two wing tubes for transport. Once removed from the fuse, set the wings on a flat surface resting on the LE. With both wings off, slide them onto the wing tubes and you've got a very rigid and secure setup for transport. See the photos...

Oh, and no wing bags. No real reasonable way to do that.

Scott, if you have a chance can you measure the height of the plane with the wings on, table to highest point. I want to see if this will fit in my truck with the wings on and my bakflip cover closed

Both fin and top of rudder at 13" +/- 1/8".

Looks like its no taller than the slick as the canopy is taller than the top wing.

I would hazard a guess that ifvtge slick is a tight fit after the canopy this one may not work.

thanks for the quick response, it will fit perfectly, so wings will stay on.

going to the wings over wind country tomorrow, wish you were flying, but I do get to see Tim Weber which should be good
