Are you using an E-Flite esc? Timing has NOTHING to do with cell count. The majority of escs beep for cell count. If the esc is registering the correct cell count is on plug in the beeps you here are telling you how many cells the esc is seeing. 3 beeps 3 cells, 4 beeps 4 cells ect...

And watching the classifieds for a decent deal.

Depends on the situation and how much an mah increase their will be. Their should be no performance difference in running 3s 3300 or 3s2p 3300 (c rating same), (weight is not taken into consideration)

Maybe this can explain some thing. In boating where the amp draw can easily average 150+ or more ( i personally have had setups pull over 5,000 watts and 250+ amps) 2P (or higher) is essential. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...05&postcount=3

Yes this is an eflite 80 amp ESC. I just checked the beeps, there was one and then there five in a row, Im guessing 5s? I have no clue then if it is the right cell count. It fires up nice with no screeching or anything with a 4s battery. Maybe Im good?

Lets see they paid after shipping $129 or so and now are offering it for $149 with free shipping. Yeah they are trying to make a quick buck.

The PKZ Spitfire calls for 10/15 sized retracts, which are good for up to 4.5lbs (http://parkzone.com/Products/Default...rodID=EFLG1000. The Hurricane calls for 15/25 size retracts good for up to 7lbs (http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/De...ProdID=EFLG200). The hurricane is listed around 4.5-4.65lbs flying weight, but she's a lady and ladies are never honest about the weight .

Ehh......what do those guys know about the correct colors??

Seriously it does look a lot lighter than the "dark earth" offered by model paint companies.

You assume they paid shipping. I didn't, I did local pickup, so I paid sales tax but still for PNP was only $118. Also he didn't say how much they were charging for the shipping on the ebay listing. That's how ebay listings always get a few extra $$$ out of ya.

OK so local pick up you pay 10% or so sales tax. Either way its still a decent deal. If the guy bought it and went to the trouble of advertising it on e-bay and shipping it etc for a $10 dollars or so profit then he has a lot of time on his hands. If someone was trying to make a buck on this plane then the thing to do would be to sit on it for a year and then sell it. The windrider Hurricane is apparently going away as well.

BTW I did not assume "free shipping". Thats what the guy said in the post.

Yesterday there was 1 dealer selling BNF for 150 with FREE shipping.
I paid a few sheckles more from Atalanta Hobby but very close to same.
Heck of a deal, I was looking for PNP for a spare but got BNF instead.
Free enterprise syatem works, if a guy makes a few bucks and we still get a good deal I am fine with that. Great time to be in hobby IMHO.
