Hello everone the F4U corsair is here!! all you guys were asking about it at the AMA show and finally we got in the improved version so its not tail heavy like it was before. What the company did to fix that was make the tail hollow. we are going to be flying the two colors we got in today and i hope to post video up soon this plane has 4 servos a powerful Out-runner Brushless Motor (4250-KV500) 25 size. a 50A ESC with built in BEC. And the battery pack is a 4s 2200mah I will put up some specs for you guys as well. I really like the retracts on this plane as always with airfield they are nice and scale. Does the Airfield version come with both the 3 & 4 blade hubs?

it comes with 4 blade only.

And stock battery is a 2600mah not a 2200.

What all comes with the airframe only

so.... why the change to the elevator control surface on the "Airfield" kit? that looks ridiculous. or is that how the FMS corsair is too??

FMS must have a sh*tload of those freaky little men left somewhere because there's still not a better pilot figure (and he really gives me the creeps!)

No idea why people like this plane so much; the wings look downright rediculous. May fly as good as it does but still. What I DO love though is the wheel doors. Did I see correct and do they close as the wheel goes up (looks like some elastic band)?

I will do something like that on the FMS mustang too

Definitely not the case on the FMS version!!! That for me would rule out that version...!!!

On another subject...ok, the Chinese realized that the decals did not go along with the 3-bladed prop (Korea version, etc...) but what was over looked is that the airframe is an F4U-1D which is meant to have a 3-blader...but a different paint job! If they had just changed the decals for a late WWII version everything would have been ok. Now we again, and that goes for the FMS V2 as well, have a fantasy Corsair.

PS: The ailerons should also not go all the way out to the end of the wing...FMS has this wrong as well! But this can be easily corrected!

the doors are pretty neat they each have their servo and no elastic band its all mechanical

Does the ARF version come with a lipo battery?

Is the version listed on the site as "(Yellow)" actually the grey version with the yellow stripe?
