lol.

I never really had plans to go to rcx. Would have been nice to meet everyone. Never even heard about it before 2010. Im just not ready to go this year and didnt expect 1/4 scale supermoto anyways. 3.5hr drive, no roar membership, no rc bike experience, didnt tell the wife lol. Maybe next year (or other events late 2011), if it pans out.

FYI - Looks like forecast is for rain fri/sat in my area 3hr north of your event, so its possible down there.

Ya... Supposed to rain this weekend... Thats gonna suck... It'll be the first rained-on RCX since it moved to Pomona... Bikes, flight demos, boat pond.., all at risk

So are we racing rain or shine? Should I be waterproofing my bike? Might be fun trying to race in the wet.

Hey guys here's the video from the Rcx weekend, Saturday the only day we were able to run. Sunday was rained out bummer, looking at the video I did not realize how much dust was on that track. If you did not stay in the race line the front was a wash. That narrowed the track from about 8-10 feet wide to about 5-6 feet of workable pavement.

The rain did not permit for any Supermoto, we were going to run on Sunday.

We did a few laps with the VMX on Saturday while they were still prepping the track, but not even all at the same time.

That was more like:
Us:..."let's see how they run on a track"... "is your bike charged?... ya..." "let's go before the practice starts!"... "HEY it works!"

Announcer: "Remove vehicles from the track... practice for 1/5 scale"

Us:... "Dam...."

Larry I was looking at the video again today and you just stayed consistent around the track. You didn't try to push to hard and you didn't make any mistakes. The one time you crashed was when I hit you from behind trying to get by you. It was not many places you could make a clean pass on that track, being if you went out of the race line the dust would wash out your front. I was trying to pass you seemed like the whole second qualifier.
