This is my first electric conversion of a dumas kit. I used a parkzone cub receiver and a motor and gear from a mustang. I covered it with tissue, and used two coats of 50/50 dope thinner. The plane weighs 47g with a 120ma batt. It flies well with no wind.
My next project is an old HobbyCraft Waco YMF-5.It has a twenty inch wingspan. These were Canadian Kits. I can't remember when I purchased it. the balsa is top grade, and looks like it will be an interesting project. Here are a couple of pics of the Tiggy and the Waco box

Hi Gary
That is one cute electrocution.

Not sure if they do your Waco, but http://www.easybuiltmodels.com/ff.htm has a lot of kits around this bracket. Some are even laser cut, for 'cheaters'

I used to build the easy built many moons ago. Thanks for the info. they have some really interesting aircraft designs. Ihaven't seen them in Canada for a long time. Would be worth trying to order one.
