B-24 ? anyone? Anywhere? B-24 Liberator?

Ok. I've been looking for one for along time. found few kits, all WAY to complicated for me. You know the wooden model that the pro takes and makes rc, or the huge 9 ft span ones.

With all the new foam B-25's out there and the new B-17 kits that are looking pretty good.........Will some one ever make a B-24?

I guess now is just like back then, the Liberator just gets no respect.
No Respect I tell ya.
It was and still is the Dangerfield of all American bombers.

heck if someone would shoot me a price to cut one i'd probbably buy it and just scratch build it.

Sarge, Fahim at Wowplanes makes a very nice kit, 62" span. Extensive build thread here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=910971 It's a builder's kit, you can do it quick and dirty or as detailed as you like (D-Rock even had aircraft ID charts in his!). Full set of Sparky's plastics. Definitely worth a look.

Regards,
Jeff

This is not about a kit but a very practical scratch build that was featured sometime back. Thought you might find it interesting

OH my.. Id be on cloud nine with that, but its like the kit i got from germany. just paper and foam. I just dont have luck with the skelaton build type planes. Covering them has never been my forte'.....( I cant do it to save my life ) The solid Foam one looks like the best deal for me. Thanks again guys.
