Sky Lipo vs Gens Ace

Anyone know which one is better and why? I know a couple people that swear by the Gens Ace batteries from hobbypartz...but I was wondering what makes them better than the sky or blue lipos?

The Gens Ace are a somewhat interesting story. A member

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/member.php?u=310278

contacted a few member here and offered some LiPolys for testing. These turned out to be very good LiPolys which were not greatly overrated as many are. They had no US distrubitors / vendors but latter hobbypartz started carrying them.

The original member who supplied the test packs has since perhaps proven to be a shill or .......?

Here is the gens ace pack in my big yellow F16.

EJets International 2011 -- Yellow Aircraft F-16.wmv (5 min 37 sec)

BTW I am also using them inside my BVM Electra

These batteries are doing great in the high demand I put onto them in my jets. I just orderd my 3rd set last week. No one at Ejets could beleive my 180mph had 25C gens ace batteries installed in it. I am loving the gens ace packs and making flying bigger planes very affordable now.

Before I had one set of thunderpowers that I paid $700.00 dollars for. Now I have replaced that set with gensace 12 cell set up that is under $200.00 for the set. So now with three sets of gensace I can fly all day without waiting on the charger!

If a battery is crap you will find out in the first few flights on the big jets.

Too bad the weights aren't as advertised. Got two 30C 5S 5000ma packs yesterday. One was 630 grams as advertised, the other was 645 grams. Good thing I didn't purchase these for my F3A plane. My plane might have been over the weight limit if I was counting on them both being 630 grams.

My Gen Ace have gone over 200mph (downwind ). I'm using a 12s 30c 5300mah setup and couldn't be happier. Voltage holds at 3.7v/cell at 120-130amps. Over 20 cycles so far and going strong.
