Yes, really
from looking at the graph the thrust-power relationship is nearly linear. You can estimate that top thrust would be around double the 100W value, that is around 3 lbs (1.5 kg). That times 8 and you get 24 lbs and 1.6 kW (110ish A).Of course that's just a rough estimate, so take it with an appropriately large grain of salt

Since HK just released some NTM motors that are perfect for quads, someone needs to test them out.

I can't speak for someone elses setup but I get 992.2g thrust at 12.4V 18.2A with 2830 750kv motor spinning APC12x3.8 prop. It is not the same motor but usually a set rpm for a given prop produces close to same thrust not taking efficiency into account.
