Divinity 42" Slow flying wing

The divinity is designed by ApachePilot, plans and lots of information is available in the divinity thread on rcgroups

I've flown my Divinity two times. She is a great flyer, I can let go of the transmitter and let her fly on her own.

My setup:
Motor: 2730-1300KV - Blue wonder
Battery: 900mah 2S lipo
Prop: 8x4.3 SF
Servos: 2x HXT-900
ESC: TowerPro 9g w12A

AUW: 249 grams (8,8 ounces)

I agree with your statement... I Love mine! Did you hand cut yours or do it on a Phlatprinter? Mudman1959

I hand cut it, I'm planning to make a new one soon, a 60" or something like that. I flew it in a very small schoolyard today, I'm glad it is so forgiving when I over control it in a small area!

What did you use to adhere the layers and what did you cover it with at the end of the project?

Hi, I'm using polyurethan glue Casco Cascol. LE is covered with packaging tape. I use packaging tape most of the time, because it is so thin an light, I've never seen it break on my models.

3M-77 on mine, a little hard to line up the pieces so you have to work slowly. So far it has several crashes and too many flights to count and it is holding together good... Mudman1959

I have just bought a can of 3m-77 glue, I'm glad to hear that it works good for you Mudman1959 I haven't tested the glue yet, but I have big expectations for it The Divinity must be perfect for testing it, maybe I should build one for a friend as well...

One hand on the tx, one on the camera. The divinity is a easy plane to fly!

I tested my divinity with a 3s 750mah battery, 1700KV BW motor and a 5x5 prop. Nice speed! Not that good low speed handling, but fraught the heavy wind like a champ

The prop was a tad unbalanced, I thought it would work ok, but after 6 min the motor mount fell off! Had to glide in for a landing in heavy wind, long walk in wet snow:S
