Colerne Electric Fly-in Pics
For those in the UK that were unable to make the BEFA Colerne electric fly-in yesterday (Sunday 27th July), here are some pics. Sorry, but as this was my first time at one of these events, not many of the names (model or persons) have stuck so I can't offer a running commentary, but I hope you will enjoy them anyway.
The weather was good but very windy and my own models were too light to fly so I just enjoyed watching everyone else!
A selection of the models with pilots and helpers. Bob P who organized the event is in the striped shirt on the extreme left and his EDF F-18 is nearest the camera.

Pete Nicholson and his beautiful Hangar 9, P51. Pete designed the Flair scale WW2 kits and the Model Designs (Balsacraft) Spitfire, Bearcat, Fw 190 etc.

Great Pics Chris and looks like a fun event.
Bob Partington (Bob P - the chap on the far left of the first picture in the rugger shirt, whose FW190 and FA-18 Hornet are in the pictures) could probably provide you with some of the details of those models, so you could edit those into your posts. I'm guessing that is Gordon Whitehead's El Bandito and possibly likely the Tiger Moth and Mig 15 as well??
You can put videos, up to 10mb worth in the RC Gallery via the link at the top right hand side of the page.
