Yes, the motor in the RTF kit is a brushless motor.

I live in collegeville and i usually go to hobby hut located in Audobon.
I have seen list listed for $229 on some websites. If i could get it for $175 (transmitter/receiver not included) i would definantly be interested. Also, I would prefer to have it shipped directly to me if possible.

Use the Trex 500 in the pheonix sim, the Trex 450SE is a little too twitchy. This is what I feel when compare with flying the stock RTF Hausler 450 v2, plus it has the yellow canopy.

my two cents...if you have a regular transmitter it will definitely be easier to set up than the CD, which takes a little patience. but they do come rtf out of the box and very little if any fine adjustment should be needed. the blades are glass, so if you want carbon you can also order the chameleon cf blades for about $15. A friend of mine replaced his $30 Aligns with the Chameleons and couldn't tell a difference, and I fly them on my Hausler 450 kit and on the RTF model. I also fly with the Cermark AMPed up 2200 20c packs, which are fine for just screwing around.

I have 2. For the money you can't beat them. I converted one over to a spektrum 6100e and ds75 servos so i could use my dx6i. It worked out really well...i program and make changes at the field. The people at cermark have been great, Regina, i hope that's how you spell it, if not i'm sorry, alex and steve are great, regina know's me as pain in the ass mike in hemet. I fly mine everyday. It's a great helicopter with great support from Cermark, thanks.

Mr. Rocks: the RTF kit is designed so that you can fly it right out of the box. You don't need anything else. Just bring a pair of steady hands.

Peace,

I am looking to set-up mine with a Hitec Aurora A9. Has anyone converted theirs over to this radio?

Self Crasher

I hope I am alone in this experience. I took a chance and ordered a Hausler 450 from an online RC store. It arrived last week and I was relatively impressed for the price. After having to wait until the weekend to fly, I was anxious. I am relatively new to heli's having flown some smaller fixed pitch and an Axe CP v3 for a few months. The Hausler flew beautifully. Very stable and predictable. I thought I had found my dream heli. I went into the house for about 1 minute and came back out. The servos were going kind of nutty moving about. When I attempted to slowly raise the throttle, the thing went nuts, spooling up to 100% power with no collective. It then rolled on its side and thrashed itself into pieces. And no, the throttle up/hold was not on; everything as it was before. I believe i raised the throttle about 1/4" is all. It just went all the way up. Anybody heard of these things doing this? I am debating as to whether to buy another one or just go with a Blade 400 or maybe a Trex if my budget will handle that much. Thanks!
