The Devo 8 has most of the features of far more expensive TXs. The only issue I have is the display outdoors, but it is really not a problem. I have all my models on the Devo 8. I updated it 10 the 100mw as well.
When I got the V400, it came with the old manual. I emailed Walkera and did get the correct Devo manual several Days ago.
I have a devo7 and i also really don't like it. I got it working ok with the v400,but its a pain !

I will ahve to wait for tail motor , blades ,and other stuff to replace this crash stuff. But right beofre that i had the longest i verted hover. It was like i was on the sim, oh well ,i dont have video either , it makes me more calm,
Sorry to see that. The V400d is a very soft heli. Its funny because I was just thinking about getting another Tarot 450 sport with TT and switching over parts from V400. I think I would get the kit and be able to use the tail parts as spares on my other 450s
ending up with only the receiver and tail motor parts from v400. Just like a couple of guys over on the 450clone thread.
My V400d flies perfect now, but I was going to take it to work tomorrow to get the dust off it. I'm going to try not to crash but if I do, that's when I'll get another 450 sport kit.

spool up
moving the cyclic in all directions to show swash movement
50% collective
100%collective
full forward cyclic - no flight
full right cyclic - no flight
full back cyclic - we have lift-off
full left cyclic - we have liftoff
Hmm ill wait on your video cause that sounds strange and I'm not sure what u mean exactly. When u say liftoff do you mean that it takes full back or left cyclic for the heli to leave the ground? If so then something very strange is going on cause it should only take collective pitch with minimal cyclic input to keep it straight. Do you have your tx in mode 2?

For the video usually YouTube will convert it for you when u upload it. I think now we just need to see that.

One other thing, what d/r % are u using? And what tx do u have, I forgot if u already mentioned that.

The sounds like what happen to me yesterday when I changed all the servos on my HK250. I mixed up the AIL and Pitch servos in the rx. Switched them and all was well.

I'm using a walkera 2603 transmitter in TX mode 2
The v1 and v2 switchs are up/off, so I'm not using any throttle or pitch limits
I'm using the metal servos from rtf-heli.com fot the v400d02
Main and tail brushless motors from rtf-heli

just a question for using parts from v400 onto a 450 clone. is it still fine if the 450 clone tail is on a digital servo or does it have to have a tail motor like v400?

The blades i have are from two different distributors. The one that says turnigy are from hobby king and the one that white is from rtf-heli.com its there xtreme blades. They balance out perfect that's why I'm using 2 different blades. Hobby king blades are not even close to being balance when you get them and the rtf-heli.com are balance. Thank the videos heli biggie puts up did the same for me. I got the v400d02 after seeing his videos on youtube!

Devo 7 and devo 10 are similar, both cluggy.
The Devo 8s, Devo 6, and Devo 12 are the touch screen with many more features.
The Devo 8s is definitely worth the extra money over the other 2.

I would get the Devo 8s but All your getting out of the devo8s is touch screen. The Devo 10 can do all that the Devo 8s can do, and the devo10 has the vibrating timer and i dont think the 8s comes with it. But for the 10 and 7 being the same not even close. All they have that is the same is the look. Go with the wowhobbies Devo 10 and it looks close to the 8s with out the touch screen. But one thing to that has me wanting the 10 move is less stuff that can go wrong with it over the touch screen with me having two kids under the age of 6
