Cool
Golden Age Air Museum- Bethel, PA

I just discovered this air museum on the internet today, looks like a really cool place I have to take a few trips to next year. It looks like the Pennsylvania version of Old Rhinebeck, with an emphasis on early aircraft, and WW-1 themed and barnstorming events they put on.

Here's a link to a Fokker Triplane replica they are building:

They have a fly-in every October that I have been wanting to attend. Maybe this year.

I've seen that Golden Age museum website. Aircraft of that era have a certain elegance.

Gents, If you are interested I have posted the details and photos of Our Triplane (Golden Age Air Museum) here on RC Groups see the 1:1 Scale Triplane and Pup thread. Now that the Triplane is flying it's full speed ahead on the Pup!

I'll need to visit this place too. A few months ago I was visiting a big machine/fabrication shop in reading for a work project. The group I was with went to the general foreman's office and I happened to notice a couple of perforated tubes on one of his tables. After we were done with business I said those look like cooling jackets for a spandau machine gun - that's exactly what they were, and he said he would be making them into "firing" guns, using propane for make the flash and report. Nice meeting fellow aviation enthusiasts.

I think the Mid-Atlantic Air museum is not too far away.

Hey Tough Italian Kid,
We're like Rhinebeck quite a bit but we're still working on the WW1 end of things.
