I'm tuned!!!

Ahem.. (toes tapping) I'm afraid to leave the computer 'cause I don't want to miss any pics as soon as they appear!

I'm just about done with my dash. The instruments from aerocockpit.com are awesome! I'm waiting for some paint to dry and I'll post...well...as soon as I see pics of your radial!

I'm excited to see your work! So what's the going rate for your dummy radial? That has always been the biggest pain in the on these gyros with the exposed radial engine. The dummy radial is as difficult the rest of the build, and more frustrating for me. I have nothing else going on man so get those pics posted!

Well guys here is the finished paint

I still have a few finishing touches like the aluminum on the wing, all of those guy wires and of course the radial. I will finish the cockpit and windshields here in a few days.

I am painting the radial today so I should have more pictures soon.

Cheers,
Matt

OK here she is almost finished

Man that exhaust pipe is not easy I should have that done in the morning. I am going to paint the the exhaust manifold with some of that Testors steel paint and then fuel proof it with my clear coat. Anyway that is the progress so far

Matt! You've outdone yourself
STANDING OVATION!!!

I'm dying to know how you did the fins on the exhaust side. Did you make them or cut them from a different cylinder? I've been struggling with mine.
