I received my Calli graphics today.... Awesome! Awesome!

They do great work for the best price I'm going with the Miss Champion scheme. I also ordered Petie 2ND decals for my 1/5 Scale P-51 Mustang $38.00 ludicrous!!

Very Impressed

Finished the rotor mast today!! Decided to bend the wire to go into the fuselage. Then attach the mast with Collars inside(just like the front) to eliminate the screws outside. Small mod less soldering Oh and I installed streamline tube just before the bend.

I have not had much time this week. Wanted to paint... Horrible weather for painting

G'Day Matt
Very nice work .I bet that was not easy to bend with the streamline in position.

It does put a small dent in the side when it is that close. I am going to paint them anyway so just a tiny bit of filler and "Bob's your Uncle "as they say

Good luck with the radial! I'm nearly complete with my solution to the problem. I like the sounf of your plan better than mine, I'm hoping you're considering making your work available for a fee. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Regards,
-Mike

Radial will be slightly delayed I ran out of my RTV mold compound. Should have it here next week.

I also have a week off from real work, so much work on PCA will be completed then.

Perfect day for paint here in Cincinnati. I should have dark blue hair from all the paint by the end of the day

Well, here she is painted

Yes I painted the model with Krylon rattle cans;

Don't worry I have been doing this for years! This is my big secret You see Krylon is a division of Sherwin Williams and this paint is compatible with their automotive clear coat. By the way it comes in gloss and flat. This clear is untouchable you can pour acetone right on it and it rolls off like water
The Krylon is very simple to use and dries in about an hour. It is also very light weight. So if you need to touch up any imperfections you don't have to clean out a spray gun. After all I use the spray can is for the color. The clear does all of the work

Anyway this is what the model looks like after a light 500 grit sand. The decals will be next and then clear coat

Oh yea had to set the pilot in there for a little motivation

Fire away

Cheers,
Matt

YEP it's just like me using K-mart oil filters, Why you ask I have a friend who worked in a paper mill and k-mart bought the same filter paper as Fram but theirs cost twice as much.Kyrlon is one of the best on the market. way to go Matt

Looks great Matt! Love the blue!

Are you doing to put in the passenger seat in front? Just noticed it wasn't there.

Hey Joe,

I found a real cool piece of black leather that will work as a fake cover. We'll see

Painted the yellow around the wing and tail today. If I have time tomorrow decals then clear coat. Supposed to rain though

Cheers,
Matt
