You'll be fine! Just don't force it up! And hop, hop, hop! I did probably about 10 hops and readjusted the head till I finally flew mine. Now, I can take off mine on a grass field hands off! I would wait for a day when you have a little wind....5-8mph to make sure you have those blades spinning up to speed. I've flown my Champion about 40 times and my Beechnut 1/2 that and love them both. The only time I don't like them is when I'm taking off asphalt on a no wind day!
Good luck and like Chis said, "take it nice and easy!" I don't what that pretty radial to get hurt!
