Don,

I hacked up another cylinder and used the bottom fins. I cut the fins in a pie shape to make the diameter smaller. I them used Kwik JB weld to hold it all together. Finally put it in a RTV mold and made nine of them

I would sure like to build this thing in 1/5 Scale Joe... Dave....??

That's very cool Matt. I got to the point of cutting the exhaust side off and was trying to cut little circles of plastic sheet to match the ones missing from the cut. I like how everyone here has done neat little workarounds to add their touch to the plane.

Now as far as scale goes, I've always wanted to do a 1/4 scale version of the PCA-2 or Johnny Miller's PA-18. I started working on some plans for the PA-18 some time ago but kept pushing it aside for other projects.

I'd love to get one of your cylinder molds Matt. Do you still have my address?

Again, great job!

I'm waiting around for you actual Craftsmen to finish up so the rest of the PCA-2 builders can purchase a dummy radial from you. I've got the Williams Brothers stuff, but doesn't look as amazing as yours. I know I would buy yours even if it were as ridiculously priced as Williams Brothers.

Regards,
-Mike
