I have bought/inherited one of these things recently, and it looks like an awesome flyer.
It looks a bit fragile - but what balsa/sheet construction doesn't?
Test-benching this thing shows that it has enormous power on 3s 2200mAh.
I'd be interested to see how ours go.
Please keep in touch.

i have a scorpion motor not sure what model and 10x8 props and 60 amp esc and run a 4 cell 3600 mah pack. unless you have a big motor up front you might be tail heavy that batt is too small mine has unlimited vertical and lands like a foamy glider nice and slows with no flaps or spoilerons

Thanks for your reply, Ed.
Mine has a balsa fuze and I'm pretty sure she's been set-up to run a 3S 2200.
From what I could find so far on the 'Net, a CoG of 90/93mm should be pretty much on the mark.
Darn windy as hell today, so no maiden for me *poop*.
They're quite a good looking plane - sort of a cross between a 3D'er and a speed machine, with a touch of retro vintage lines around the nose area.
Should be a hoot to fly...
