New Product
Nine Eagles Ultra Micro Spitfire, P-47 Thunderbolt and P-51 Mustang

Seems like Nine Eagles is coming with more WWII planes, besides the P-47 Thunderbolt...

Some details:

Spitfire

Model No: NE R/C 780B
Wing span: 400mm
Overall Length: 355mm
Flying weight: 33-34g
Power System: ∮8 Motor
Battery: 3.7V 150mAh Li-PO

P-51 Mustang

Model No: NE R/C 779B
Wing span: 400mm
Overall Length: 365mm
Flying weight: 33-34g
Power System: ∮8 Motor
Battery: 3.7V 150mAh Li-PO

P-47 Thunderbolt

Model No.:
TX:NE-024G
RX:NE R/C 778B
Wingspan:400mm
Overall Length:355mm
Flying Weight:36-38g
Motor::∮8Motor
Battery:3.7V, 150mAh Li-PO

Btw, the Mustang and Spitfire are listed as 3 channel planes, the P-47 as 4 channel. The receivers are identical though, the extra aileron servo of the P-47 can be plugged into the receiver of the Spitfire and Mustang as well. So with a little modding, these might be converted to 4 channel as well.

Not yet, there is only one vid on Youtube of the P-47, I think that is what you meant with the P-51 you mentioned?

Btw, I remember you once said that your post count was not right, when someone asked you why you had so many postings in such a short time, recall that? Perhaps the count is right if you don't edit a post but make a new one just after your previous one within 5 minutes apart. That way post count will go skyhigh rapidly...

I miss the smilie after mouth, or are you really mad at me?

Missed the P-51, they only listed the Spitfire, P47, battle helis, new TX and the Bravo SX in the banner, which is supposed to advertise for new releases. I guess they don't want publicity for the Mustang then?

After all, a P-51 is not a very popular plane, right?

Well, it's nice to see them so busy, 3 new sweet looking planes, and a new TX. Let's hope it's all compatible with each other, and not like with the helis, that have the same TX, and yet you can't control the planes with it, and same with the plane TX, you can't control the helis with those...

There is also a Yak 54, which it looks like I am going to get all of them, depending on money. I wonder how they will handle outside.

Decided to make this a general topic for all Nine Eagles warbirds instead. Perhaps if the individual planes become more available and popular they might need a seperate topic, but for now, this seemed more appropiate.

There is a similar thread running in "indoor and micro models"
You might find additional info there: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1337478

Here is a slightly better Video of the Yak 54

That's the charm of such a large forum, where some products fall into multiple classifications. The Hobbyzone Champ could also be considered an indoor micro, but is also "micro RTF", just like these planes. And there are even multiple threads for the same heli in the micro heli forum.

Nice vid of the YAK, seems like it has plenty vertical pull power, which can be expected with the motor it uses. Roll rate seems also quite adequate. Wonder if the vid was cut off a few seconds before impact, though...

The picture shows the Spitfire with ailerons.

I wonder how they are going to switch rudder/ailerons channels in the brick or TX?

The P-47 uses a separate aileron servo, but the Spitfire Ailerons would be in the brick, if its a 3 Channel.

Edit: It looks like the Spitfire Ailerons were airbrushed out of the ad as the actual model doesn't appear to have ailerons. The problem of channel switching still remains.

Its why HH has a separate 3 channel brick and a 4+ channel brick.
