Hi,
I saw that transmitter at the iHobby show last October, it was displayed with an ultra micro brushless airplane at the show. The nine eagles rep couldn't speak enough english to give me any usefull information on it either.
It seems some of these manufacturers are putting out decent programmable tramsmitters nowadays including walkera, art-tech, and nine eagles.

Ah, that is the picture I remembered seeing before. The new Align TX looks a little like it btw with those V-shaped patterns on the topc section...

Actually it also looks a little like the JR 11X style.

This TX makes me wonder what NE is coming out with next. Unless you're doing retracts, there isn't a reason to have a 6ch tx for a plane....

I did finally get an email through to them. I will post back any response they send me as soon as it hits my inbox. I am not excited about this. Nope, not at all....

Nothing back from Nine Eagles, but, according to someone who should know, these will be coming out "late spring/early summer." Which sucks. However, the question to ask is "why is NE releasing a programmable 6ch tx?" That, I think, will be even more interesting.

Same here, would be very welcome, and get them more market share for sure. The big selling issue for the mSR is that you can get a better programmable radio for it. Let's hope you can also fly the planes with this.

Nine Eagles will scarcely respond to emails, sadly enough. We will have to wait and see...

I too hope that this Tx will fly NE Helis and Planes, but I cant see that happening as the Heli and plane Tx´s aren´t exchangeable.
But then again I don´t know much about this technology, so lets keep the hope up.

That could simply be fixed by making the TX have Acro and Heli mode for instance. I doubt the heli and plane TX are that much different. I still wonder why they decided to make them incompatible.

I think it's a range thing, planes go further than small helis.
