We are working on a new website for EOT Models.

It will take a month or so to have it the way we want it, but it will be much better then the temporary one we have now. You can reach the site at http://www.EOTmodels.com

This is a great build thread, thanks for sharing.

Mine was delivered today, super fast shipping-- I ordered it yesterday. Looks great, packed well. Still have a few days before my servo's, motor and esc arrive. I wish hobby king shipped as fast as you did!

R.Murphy - Good call having the flitetest guys do a review (even with the crash). I never would have known about this plane if they hadn't done that video. I cant wait to fly this RB and see it in the air.

Hey Bikeman

Is there a good way to cut that pocket in the bottom of the fuse that holds the ESC?

Yours looks pretty neat, but I've never had much luck doing deep pockets in EPP.

What's your trick?

Thanks

Mike

What I did to make it a clean cut was make all the cuts from the bottom with a "snap blade knife" that was marked for provide the same depth, then I made a cut through the side of the fuse just far enough in to let that section out. then I CA's my side cut back together. I did this opposite side as the lipo

Video of EOT RARE BEAR from the air.

I was flying my Easy Star via FPV, my Son In-Law was flying the RARE BEAR, hard to keep him from flying fast.

NICE! The FPV and edits are very cool!

Roland, if you are in the Area of State College July 24th, we have our Air Show, we could get some Bears in the air together.

Got a chance to maiden mine over the weekend and it was great, very happy with the way it flys.

It's not a rocket or a full blown 3D'r......but as advertized, it's just a very nice slow flying airplane, very smooth and predictable.

Flying a Scorpion SII-3008-1090 with an 11x5.5 APC "E" prop

It'll get a lot of flights from me, good job Roland

Hey Mike,
That scorpion is spot on to a Eflite 480 so it sounds like a great fit. I have the Turnigy SK version of the 480, with the 13X4 APC electric and a 3S2200 20C I am seeing good results. If you get a chance try a 13X4 if you get a chance.

12X7 gave me much more speed but cut flight time and 3D.

Hey OldGuy,

I've got a couple of those 13x4 props on order, by the prop chart it looks like a good choice.

Here's a picture of my RB, I just couldn't resist putting landing gear on it although I don't think I'm going to keep it on. It skid lands so well and the LG is just an accident waiting to happen when you fly off grass.

I did darken up the yellow a bit and put some black stripes on the bottom of the wing so I could see it a little better.

Hey... That does look sharp. The gear would be a must for flying on Asphalt or cement, after a while it would sand the foam down.

13X4 has been perfect for what I do, it slows its roll but the torque is great without torque rolling. For high speed flying, the 12X7or8 is the trick.
