That's weird I got an email from them at 1:44am today and the codes are diff. Where yours have a 'B' mine have a 'D'. I expect another set or conformation that these are good for Aug later next week.
Man, I gotta get an order together.... |

Yep...
The Tower Talk codes are also rather random. For example: I have actually received duplicate mailings with entirely different promo codes in the same monthly catalog. I only order from Tower 1-2 times per year, and buy parts and accessories from my LHS. The codes are open source amongst club members...as far as I'm concerned.

I just ordered a Traxxas Rustler VXL from Tower for $287 (free shipping and $30 off code). I would have preferred to buy from my LHS, but they didn't have it in stock, so I would have waited just as long and it would have cost $334, with taxes. The LHS gets plenty of business from me anyway, so I don't feel too bad.

Agreed...
I ordered a Tower Hobbies ARF, which my LHS does not stock, and a bulk-pack of 10 standard servos. Tower upgraded the shipping to second-day air, and my invoice totaled less than $165(US). No LHS can match those prices nor the transit time....and, the best part is I spent most of my weekend flying!

I'm way out on the west side of town and round trip to the lhs is about 90miles. About the only thing I buy there anymore is fuel. Anything I tear up, I always get a spare or two when I order. Next time I already have the replacement if there is a nent time. I order from TH on Sat/Sun, I usually have it Wed/Thurs. Hard to beat |

Damn, I ordered the Traxxas Rustler on Sunday night and got it this morning.
 If I'm not mistaken Tower is 340 miles away from me. But, that's still really fast. |
