I just placed a order for 2 -4 cell battery packs.
With winter setting in here I might just have to wait till spring for the maiden flight.
The ony thing left to do is set the "CG" and throws. As far as the "CG" should I go according to the instructions or has anyone found a better point??
I did cut in flaps that will work in 2 positions. Take off -because of our grass field and landing flaps.
This was a fun project but next time I won't do it in vinyl.....

Is the CG according manual still 'halfway wing root'? If so, go about 2 cm back from halfway, mid wingroot is too far forward.

Next time I may try the WBPU
With vinyl the sharp edges don't seal down as good as I would like it too.
I took a monocote iron to the edges and it kind off worked but still not as good as I was hoping for.
I think painting it ofter the WBPU might be fun too.
No matter how the sharp edges turned out,,, I'll bet it will look great in the air

Is that with the plane right side up or inverted? Think DougW said he used the windo aft of the exit row as his balance point. Anybody got a picture of where it's balanced?

747-400 is a must do project.
If everyone can build the 747 so nice like you, I can save my budget of the tooling.
