at least we got a thunderstorm last night, which cooled everything down temporarily. then the wind died down and the humidity is a killer today.

Scott,
I'm just finishing off a small job on my mustang before starting
on my 737.
Callie's graphics are on the way so hopefully I'll receive them next week.
Can't wait to get going on this.

Video editing now unfortunately the camera man was a little shaky so there
is not much I can use but there are a few touch and goes. Heavy crosswind day for maiden but I decided to put it up. One I landed late
the wind disappeared had to make the decision to go for it as I was running out of runway, so I horsed it off the ground before she was ready, I equate the recovery to 75% power 25% pilot I got very lucky, she stalled hard but then just pulled out in time video to come soon. I do believe she could benefit from flaps. but other then that she flew like dream. Ming i need some winglets, talk to you soon.

Aircraft flew great except for the winglet I lost due to flutter but that is my fault. yeah I used hot glue on them bad idea. Finished editing trying to upload now.

So video is done 1.65gb.mov but I have an extremely slow connection so trying to get it uploaded somewhere has proven difficult to say the least.

Haaaaaaaaaaa!!! Great Job! Looks real nice, noticed a bit of wing flex. Did you cover them with anything? What power setup are you using, seems to really climb out great!!!

737 is completely stock it has not been covered with anything. Power comes from 2W-20 HET motors 6904 fans with 2x3cell 4000mah batterys. These motors are very nice all the power I need as you can see, and they sound awesome.

Proud bird,
Excellent video, and great job on the 737. Your set up is exactly the same as mine, although I have a problem with my motors shutting down at full throttle. What ESC's are you using, and what are your timing settings?

Rick

By the way growing up in Baldwin Park my dad used to take us to that RC Field when we were kids. Just to watch as we couldn't afford to actually get into the hobby.

Good to see another one flying. Well done ProudBird. I have same engine/EDF set up except 4S 5000 lipos.

Purchased these motors as the combo that comes with the 75 amp esc, unfortunately I do not know what the timing is on them since I ran them straight out of the box. Send (HET) and email I'm sure they can help they are very quick to respond.
