I have a tiny flasher board from flightlights.net that will give you the double-flashing strobe, but I'm not sure they're in business anymore. The rest can he done with the appropriate series resistors as outlined recently in the Dynam thread.

Got my Dynam and want to hook up the lights. Only have wires coming from all of them. Do I just hook them in parallel or do I need to take any precautions in terms of resistor or separate power supply?

Sky Trainer flight at night

Yesterday got to fly for the first time in awhile. It was getting dark, so I wanted one more flight. After I took off I noticed the Beacon light was out.

Made it more difficult to keep orientation... but logged another successful flight!

This thread is kinda old, but anyway...

I have the same plane (but from Dynam), and I make the lights blink without any kind of separate electronic device. I just set a virtual switch on the TX (I use OpenTX), and then assigned it in the mixer, so that the lights will blink only in certain flight modes (in this case, landing).

Anyway, I'm not sure about Airfield's, but the model from Dynam has very dim LEDs. After having tried to light them up using various resistors, I became disappointed with the small amount of light they emit, and thus decided to replace all the LEDs with 'normal' ones. Now I can see them even at sunlight.
