YEP! I love their $3.99 shipping charges. It's a heck of a lot cheaper than buying the same thing under the DUBRO brand name @ $4.50 per roll...

The Eagle may not be large in wingspan, but is speed, maneuverability and sound is surely gonna scare the living daylights of a permanent flock of geese we have at the field.

There are a few nasty hawks that go after smaller planes there too, I wonder how are they gonna react when the eagle gives chase and the hawks becomes the prey...

Hi Ron.

Well, that individual made a BIG MISTAKE when he deleted my posts. He "forced me" to open three individual threads to make sure everyone who use BLENDERM tape, is aware that there is an inexpensive alternative to the same tape the LHS sells for more $$$ as a hobby brand, as well as to that offered by "some individuals" here who would like to prey on unsuspecting RCGers for the same product.

It is funny, my mom was hospitalized last year and there was a roll of Blenderm in her room that the nurses used for something....got me thinking.....since it is used in hospitals that would explain why "Du-bro" retails it for $4.99/roll

Turns out medical supplies are much cheaper than I thought....

Anyway, he deleted my post too. If he had offered up a better price, he might have sold some. Glad the word is out, so everyone can get a good deal on it.

Is blenderm extremely smooth like packing tape? And very durable? What is the oldest blenderm you have in use as hinges?

Hi Tom.

It is very smooth, thin and the most flexible tape I have ever used for hinging purposes. Although not as shiny as packing or Multi Purpose Scotch Tape, its qualities make it almost invisible once applied. As for durability and stickiness, it was designed for Ostomy patients to adhere difficult bandages and secure the waste collecting bags to their skin properly (excuse me for being so graphic, but it is the only way to convey its true purpose and quality). There is nothing that will outlast BLENDERM in any respect. It also has the feel of "skin".

My oldest plane with BLENDERM hinged moving surfaces is close to being seven years old now and still sports its original BLENDERM hinges. My first couple of rolls were purchased at a LHS under the DUBRO brand and cost me under $5 per five yard 1" wide roll. Reading the inside of the spool I could see it clearly labeled as 3M BLENDERM. That got me to seek it out locally.

The local Ostomy Supply Shop where I used to get it is no longer in business; a friend forwarded the link above and I have been buying it online since. Check your local Medical Supply Shops in your area, you may find it there. Although it would cost you about $1 more per roll, it's still cheaper than DUBRO's brand, and it is the same thing.
