42 sec pass allmost 230mph (228)
All with that annoying cross wind ?

If the temp isnt 75 deg F, please let us know what it was, then your speed can be pegged within 2-3 mph
Big Thanks MOPAR ! as i posted, that was a cut APC (this setup just does not have to power to get the folders opened up proper, kills the mph,but are so much nicer, and rock for landing) the Temps yesterday were 82deg and had a 14 mph cross wind, that is why the mic picked up so much when i turned my head a bit......230mph IS JUST SILLY for a combo that is still not being pushed, and comes down cool to the touch, need to up the prop and see what she will do.

Voodoo, which folders are you referring to? 7x10 or 6x10?

Did you try the 6x10 folders?

Yes sire....I have a video.....But i need more power to get them to open all the way,it is very easy to see.But like i said, they look bad azz and are great for landing, but with the power levels i am playing with, the fixed prop is were the speed is at.

Doug,
Do you think if the blade piviot point offset was reduced on the folders, you would see the speed gap between the fixed and the folders close maybe?

You know extra power always isn't the only answer.........

Also, note the folders are a *lot* thinner than the fixed whilst still being stiffer, so there will be some gains there...

More power won't open them up more as they will lbe balancing at their C of G.

I can hold the fuz in my hand, give it a full power blast and hold it for three seconds, and they maybe open a bit more then half way, shaped like the bottom of a bowl or hat on your head It is also very easy to feel the blast from the fixed and folding prop are very different.

That is very odd. They have very similar hole location to the 7x10's which open up almost all the way....I assume they are not binding anywhere?
