Where are the build threads on this? Bob told me last week that the first batch was sold out (more on the way) so somebody's gotta have them!

Ahhh Eric, so that is how you ended up with the pair of shoes matching your RW4 ?!

So what colour is your Swist going to be?

Got my Swist today........bonus was i recieved a 4 servo wing when i thought this batch was only 2 servo wings.Plane looks good. Both flaps and ailerons are top hinged which will reduce the amount of downward deflection on the flaps but will keep the top of the wing clean.
Wing is light and stiff.Joiner is a firm fit with no slop.No wipers but rather recess on the surfaces for tape to seal the gaps.
I will trial fit some servos this week.Maybe Hyperion DS09's?
I will post pics when i can...unfortunately tonight i am tied up with work but will get to it when i can....asap.

The joiner is 102mm long by 8mm wide by about 6mm high(approx measurements with normal ruler)I can measure it tomorrow more accurately with a better instrument if you want exact measurements)
The joiner is solid carbon.
The wing is only 9.5mm thick (approx) at its thickest point making the foil around 7.4% thick at the wing root.
With the wing bolted down at four points on the fuz i believe it will be adequate. This should make it very torsionally stiff.Time will tell but i think its up to the task.

Glad to see that the joiner is square and not round like the FVK Plasma.

Another thing to note is the Swist doesnt come with servo covers.
Now i will have to source something suitable which will slow the build.
I recieved a 4 servo wing when i thought i was getting a 2 servo wing.
SUSA said only the 2 servo wing was available in this batch
Although the flaps will be good for landing the extra covers, control rods and horns will add extra drag...oh well i will make the most of what i have got and at least i will be able to land slower and more accurately which will be safer for the model.
Anyway......anyone know a good source of servo covers?

You could also tape the flaps into place and try without them initially.
