I predict you need just under 6kW to match my top speed, would be cool if someone did it before I get there hehe. (in that case next summer)

Does anyone have measurements on the biggest battery you can get in a Swist?

Any specific packs anyone is using would be great?

4s and 5s....

Thanks in advance

My 4 cells fit great, they are 2650 40C Sky Lipo-35X34X102....292grams.Now my 5cells are another story,i was told the Thunder Power 2700mah 65C (36X39X127-360grams) would fit no problem...So seeing how it has been raining all day,i figured I would get the plane ready to fly on the 5cells for tomorrow seeing how the weather is going to be nice and cool, with low wind after this front passes...and i am bored with the 4cell setup...Problem is,unless i cut a channel in the wing for the servo leads to sit in,or push down real hard to screw the wing on,and let the wires get mashed (seems both options are not doable ) These packs do not fit......or i am missing something.....just not all to happy right now about having $300 worth of packs that will not work.

Here are some pics with the 4cell...there is ALOT of room in the Swist, just the height of the pack seems to max out at 35mm unless you get trifty with the servo leads.

I removed the velcro from the fuse that was in there from the 4 cell, and removed the shrinktube from the servo leads coming out of the wing, and it is SO close to fitting with the 5cell...i just have a bit of light between the saddle and the wing behind the wing bolts....Uggggg.

Hey, I know how it feels. Every time someone tells me a specific battery fits, I buy it and I can't seem to make it fit

That Sky 4S 2650 40C pack is the one I am trying to hunt down for my Viper.

It's out of stock everywhere. That seems to be the biggest that will fit in the Viper.

I am hoping the Swist can carry a little more. A friend is wanting one, and I am trying to track down all the gear he needs.

I don't think I could handle 6 kw

But I really like the idea of using one of those new folders for a quite ride. That is, as long as the weight up in the nose is not a problem.

I messed up a bit,I wanted the 40C but they were out of stock....so the ones I am flying with are the 30C ...And they do more then fine, they hold great power the whole flight .They are a great fit in the Swist, just way to easy to get in and out of the plane.

I use a 6s set up on mine. 1800mAh. 4s+2s. Very tight fit. Had to even take the wrapping off the packs.

Where do you find those white antenna plugs that hold the antennas outside the fuse?

I remember back inte days when only the Kokam 340mah battery was able do deliver high C, the guys made up like 8s 8p packs hehe. Maybe we need to think that way making 8S2P packs to fill out all gaps as there still are alot of space unused.
